Essential Job Functions & Requirements


Operator MIL1 performs the first cut operation of wood materials per cut lists and drawings.  Required to cut both linear and panels. General dept. housekeeping. Follow procedures and instructions. Shares the responsibility of all employees for the quality of products. As part of his/her responsibility, the employee is expected to comply with the policies, procedures and work instructions that directly relate to his/her function, task and work assignments.

Minimum Qualifications


Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals. Knowledge and proper use of a measuring tape, table saw, chop saw, and panel saw, as well as other hand and power tools as necessary.  Must be able toread and understand engineering prints.

Physical Demands and Work environment 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularily required to stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands/arms, talk or hear. The employee must ocassionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accomodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Employee is required to work in production area environment that may be loud and is not climate controlled, exposed to cold, wet and/or hot conditions.
